IDE 500 - I  MULTI-SCALE WEIGHING CONTROLLER

The new IDe 500-I controller allows the acquisition, the display and the transmission of the weight of 1 to 12 scales. It constitutes an innovative and performant solution to pour integrate the « weight » criteria in the PLC networks (Level surveillance, batching, weight control, …)

• Compatible with all the strain gage load cells.
• 2 asynnchronous serial links :

- An RS232 and/or RS485 2 wires serial link (Short distance link : 10 meters maximum)

- A passive current loop link, or in option RS232, RS485,

- Active or passive current loop (Long distance link )

• Simple and intuitive operator interface.

- Graphic display with backlight, very good visibility.

- 4 metrological keys.

- 4 application keys.

• The IDe 500-I controller could be equipped with a field bus board to insure a secured data exchange at high speed with all type of PLCs :

- MODBUS+ field bus board

- ROFIBUS DP field bus board

- DEVICE NET field bus board

- ETHERNET field bus board.

• Power supply also available in 12V or 24V DC in option.
• High reliability single board electronic.
• Digital conversational set up through the front panel.

High accuracy single scale weigh controller, this version is designed with a single RS 232 data link and can be fitted with V – galvanic isolation – 14 bits converter

   1 serial data link : either RS 232 or RS 485 or current loop

The PEGAZ indicator equipped with its Monoproduct Dosing software is ideal for all weighing operations of filling or bagging.

It is usable in manual or automatic mode in dusty, gas or explosive atmosphere which requires Atex

conformity.

Conformity to ATEX 94/9/CE and weighing 90/384/CE directives

Caracteristics :

• Stainless steel box, waterproof IP 65.
• Compatible with all1 load cells scales or 4 strain gauge load cells scales of 350Ω.

- Approved at 6000 divisions for commercial use

- At 30 000 divisions for no commercial use.

- High processing speed : from 80 to 250 measurements / second.

RS 485 or CAN serial communication with the sale area, give allowing the exchange of data

with a micro computer or PLCs (JBUS/MODBUS protocol). Necessity of an intrinsically safe interface

(coupler, remote display) with a JBUS/MODBUS protocol

Data storage device (DSD) allows operations traceability.

Options :

• 8 opto-isolated inputs take in account the state of the detector or the push button position in the dangerous area.
• 8 opto-isolated outputs allow the command of electro-valves order in dangerous area to command directly the filling of the products to be mixed or prepared.
• 230 V alternative power supply in a flameproof enclosure.
• 24V power supply in an aluminium box (230V power supply replacement)
• Function box for the 8 inputs 8 outputs (very easy cabling)
• Coupler intrinsically safe interface (démultiplexing) necessary to the connection with the safe area.
• RSI485 repeater, possibility to make a network with 24 PEGAZ, necessary to the connection with the safe area.
